I am a Philadelphia based visual artist and published writer. My sculpture is made from trash picked, re-used, and re-purposed wood to honor and not forget the life that it once held.

My paints and other processes are sustainable and fairly non-toxic.

My studio practice is one of the most important activities I do every day. Teaching others how to do creative work is another important activity I regularly do. All of this work is gratifying. I am thankful to my students for enabling me to pass along my discoveries and knowledge.
